SEASIDE HEIGHTS - Many New Jersey residents are opting for "staycations" this holiday weekend as they plan quick getaways in the Garden State.

The Siedlewskis, of East Brunswick, is one of many families that headed to the shore this weekend. Robert Siedlewski explained to News 12 New Jersey that Seaside Heights is less than an hour from his house, and his sons are planning to Jet Ski.

The family's plans also include visits to the boardwalk and games.
