The department is collecting toys to give to kids in need during the holidays.

HOBOKEN - The Hoboken Police Department hosted a "Fill the Bus" event at police headquarters today.

The department spent the day collecting unwrapped toys and non-perishable food to give out to those in need this holiday season.

People were able to drop off donations at police headquarters on Hudson Street for most of the evening.
