WALL TOWNSHIP - After 25 years of historic flight, some extremely rare bomber and fighter aircraft used in World War II landed in the Garden State.

The Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour is stationing three jets at the Monmouth Executive Airport in Wall Township.

The visit lasts until Aug. 25.

Experts say it's a rare and important opportunity to learn about living aviation history. The foundation also honors World War II vets. The tour spans 110 cities in 35 states every year.
