SPARTA - The first snow of the season may be headed to New Jersey overnight, but it may be a disappointment to some.

Parts of Sussex and Morris Counties could see the first flakes with an accumulation of up to an inch.

Many in Sparta say they are used to seeing snow in the area, but aren't quite ready to let go of the fall.

"Business here dies down in the winter. No one wants to be out in the cold," says Ralph Desordi.

Casa Mia pizzeria employee Alex Suckey doesn't look forward to the colder temperatures either. "I deliver, so I have to be in and out of my car - hot, cold - good way to get sick," he says.

But some are ready to welcome the winter weather. "I'm excited about the snow. It's a lot of fun," says Lou Schwarcz, of Parsipanny. "I'm all set. Me and my family are all ready for the good weather. Hopefully a white Thanksgiving and white Christmas."

Drivers are advised to watch out for slippery surfaces overnight and in the morning.
