ASBURY PARK - Security will be tight this weekend at Asbury Park as the Bamboozle Festival, being billed as the largest beach concert in the United States, gets under way.

Authorities estimate that there will be 90,000 people at the festival through Sunday night. Police will be on bike, in patrol cars and on foot to make sure the drinking crowd does not get out of control. The officers will be from the Asbury Park Police Department, the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department and the Office of Emergency Management.

Authorities say the fire department and first aid will also be on hand throughout the duration of the festival.

The festival features seven stages, where music fans will see hip-hop, dance, heavy metal and hardcore and punk acts. Electronic music performer Skrillex will headline tonight's concert. Other top-name headliners include Incubus and Mac Miller on Friday; The Foo Fighters and My Chemical Romance on Saturday; and Bon Jovi on Sunday.
