HOBOKEN - Rain poured on New Jersey tonight, but authorities tell News 12 New Jersey that even in flood-prone Hoboken, no major flooding has been reported, perhaps thanks to a new pumping station that was recently installed.

Coastal flood advisories have been issued for Eastern Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean and Western Monmouth County effective into the overnight hours. Flood advisories were issued for Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union counties earlier in the evening.

The National Weather Service had issued a wind advisory for Coastal Ocean, Eastern Monmouth, Ocean and Western Monmouth counties, effective through 10:00 p.m.
