TRENTON - Heavy downpours have flooded many streets and highways throughout Mercer County.

Authorities are helping people evacuate Trenton's Island neighborhood by boat as water rises in the streets.

Sections of Routes 29, 73 and 130 near the Delaware River and its tributaries are among the hardest-hit.

More rain from the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee is expected until Friday.
