WAYNE - Stefania DeMayo, who drew national attention four years ago when she became the first known heart-transplant recipient in the world to give birth to identical twins, has defied the odds again.

DeMayo recently gave birth to a baby boy. She credits both her doctor and help from higher power.

"I think this is definitely a blessing, I think it's a miracle," DeMayo says. "I definitely think there's someone up above watching over and making things happen."

DeMayo's donor was Sean Clegg, a 14-year-old who was riding his bicycle when he was struck and killed by a car.

Clegg's mother says her son's donated organs have now made a total of nine lives possible.
