NEW BRUNSWICK - Fans showed up early at AMC Loews New Brunswick as 18 midnight screenings were planned of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." Nearly all of them sold out.

Fans outside the theater were preparing to say farewell to Harry Potter as they lined up for the final film in the series.

The films have prolonged the spell, keeping Harry's fans engaged well past the release of the last book in 2007, but putting off the inevitable still won't easy. Some fans News 12 New Jersey spoke with arrived at the theater with a box of tissues as they prepared to watch the end to the most successful movie series in history.
