Hard-hit Morris, Passaic counties clearing downed trees after storm

WAYNE - Residents in Morris and Passaic counties are cleaning up after an unexpected early snowstorm left them some of the hardest-hit counties in the state.

While people in Wayne are just trying to get by, power crews are struggling to restore electricity to them.

Officials say it could be Wednesday before power is restored to residents in Wayne.

The storm also claimed the life of a man in Wayne after his vehicle slid into a truck on Hamburg Turnpike. Two utility workers also sustained minor injuries in the accident.
