WAYNE - A creepy-looking mystery animal may have jumped right out of the nightmares of some Wayne residents and into their yards.

Residents report seeing a four-legged, skinny, white and hairless creature roaming the streets.

Roger Cordoba shot video of the animal while he was at a neighborhood playground with his 2-year-old son and a friend.

Cordoba says the animal seemed confident and unafraid of humans. It even eyed his son. "This thing could have grabbed my son if we weren't looking," Cordoba says. "Thank God we were a couple feet from him and we could grab him."

The animal eventually ran away into the woods. Cordoba and his friend believe the animal could have been a fox with mange, a disease that causes animals to lose fur.

Experts advise staying away from any animal you don't know or recognize.
