Area hospitals are watching the weather closely and preparing for weather-related injuries.

The dangerous deep freeze can lead to hypothermia and frostbite. "The temperatures we're talking about could lead to injury in just five minutes," says Dr. Doug Finefrock, of Hackensack University Medical Center, "a lot faster than people might think."
