Habitat for Humanity project in Oradell hits snag

ORADELL - A Habitat for Humanity project in Oradell has run into a problem with a construction trailer.

Jacey Raimondo, of Habitat for Humanity, says a request to Oradell officials for a construction trailer has been denied.

Oradell's code does not ban construction trailers, but Mayor Joseph Murray says they've never been permitted. Murray refused News 12 New Jersey's request for an on-camera interview.

Raimondo says they'll be forced to work out of a pickup truck parked in the street. Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County says it is awaiting several permits before construction can begin.
