UNION TOWNSHIP - Two gunmen are on the loose after robbing a Union County gas station, and it was all caught on camera.
Union Township police say two men robbed the Express Fuel gas station on Morris Avenue in Union last Wednesday around 8:30 p.m. Police say the men wore masks as they burst into the gas station office, grabbed one of the clerks and ransacked the office. One of them was reportedly armed with a gun.
Gas station owner Bob Dragonette says that the thieves looked for money in a location where most people wouldn’t have known to look. He thinks that they were familiar with the gas station.

The owner says that the money was recently moved, so the suspects couldn’t find any in the office. Instead, they reportedly took $300 from the clerk, as well as the clerk’s cellphone. The clerk was shaken, but not physically hurt.
Dragonette says that the store has been robbed before.
A security camera captured images of the suspects and police are hoping the public can provide them information about who the two men are.
One of the suspects is described as a black man who was wearing white sneakers, blue jeans, a blue bubble jacket and an orange hoodie with a blue and orange baseball hat.
The other suspect was a white or Hispanic man with a goatee. He was wearing white sneakers, gray jeans, a black jacket and a black hoodie with a black baseball hat.
Anyone who may recognize the suspects or has any information about the robbery is asked to call Union Township police at 908-851-5030.
