EDISON - Governor Chris Christie made an appearance at the delegation's kick-off party in St. Petersburg yesterday.

He will be delivering the keynote address to the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night.

"I'm looking forward to the whole week," said Gov. Christie. "The speech is done. How many drafts? 13 or 14."

Gov. Christie spent the morning addressing the California and North Carolina Republican delegations.

The entire event is on a shortened schedule due to the arrival of Tropical Storm Isaac to Florida's coast.
