Gov. Christie chooses ‘recovery czar’ to lead Sandy recovery
TRENTON - Gov. Chris Christie has made his pick on who will lead New Jersey’s recovery from Sandy.
Mark Ferzan was named the ‘recovery czar’ for New Jersey. In his new role, Ferzan will oversee all of the state’s recovery efforts, from rebuilding to raising money.
Ferzan once worked with the governor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

He is also a former employee at Price-Waterhouse-Coopers.
Ferzan will earn a cabinet level salary of more than $140,000 in his new position.
