GLEN ROCK - The borough of Glen Rock is considering a move that would restrict homes from getting too large.

Under the proposed changes, no home could be more than 5,500 square feet, regardless of lot size.

The goal is to prevent houses from getting too big for their lots and dwarfing their neighbors.

The proposal is still in the preliminary planning stages. The final square footage limits are subject to change.

Ultimately, the mayor and the borough council have the final say on the proposed change.
