EAST RUTHERORD - A Giants player could be in trouble with the law.

Jay Bromley, a defensive tackle on the team, is being investigated by New York police for attempted rape, according to reports.

According to the New York Post, Bromley, 23, met a woman online and took her to a hotel in midtown Manhattan.

The victim says he became violent and tried to rape her following a consensual sexual act.

According to the report, the victim also says Bromley hit her with his car.

The report says Bromley is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 310 pounds.

The Queens native was drafted by the Giants in the third round in 2014.

He played every game this past season, starting four of them.

Bromley has not been charged.
