Giants pack up their bags, head home

EAST RUTHERFORD - The New York Giants packed up their bags today and headed home after missing the playoffs for the second year in a row. Click 'NEXT' in the video player to see footage of the Giants News Conference held today.

The Giants had a 10-win season, but Sunday's 17-14 win over the Washington Redskins was not enough to get them into the playoffs. The Green Bay Packers, who also won on Sunday, had the same record as the Giants, but made the playoffs due to winning a tiebreaker. The team announced that head coach Tom Coughlin would be back with the Giants in 2011 and beyond. Players today were left to look back on a season of missed chances, including a major loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Dec. 19. The loss to the Eagles cost the Giants a shot at the playoffs and possibly a division title.
