EDISON - Football fans are speaking out about the fan fight caught on video at last weekend's game between the Jets and New England Patriots.

Giants fans claim that they "behave themselves" at their games.

"There's an obvious difference, a perceived one anyway," says Giants fan Mike Patterson. "Giants more laid back, Jets a little more ‘involved.'"

State police, which patrols and protects MetLife Stadium, has not released statistics comparing violent incidents at Jets games versus Giants games.

However, Andrew Cimiluc, the municipal prosecutor in East Rutherford, where many stadium cases are heard, says there are more incidents at Jets games, in his experience.

The prosecutor points out that those causing problems represent a very small minority of fans. Most of the 80,000 or so people who fill the stadium each week behave themselves and have a good time, according to Cimiluc.
