TINTON FALLS - Drivers who stop to fuel up along the New Jersey Turnpike today may be in for a bit of sticker shock, as prices at the pump jumped 17 cents for regular gasoline overnight.

Gas stations along the Turnpike and Parkway can only change their prices once a week, so unlike other stations, their prices haven't been steadily rising over the past few days.

Many drivers crammed into gas stations Thursday night, looking to gas up before prices soared.

Experts say the unrest in the Middle East is what's fueling the volatility in the oil markets.
