EDISON - Drivers across the Garden State are feeling the pinch at the gas pumps as prices have been on the rise over the past week.

According to AAA, in only one week, the price for a gallon of gas has risen an average 10 cents across the state to $3.14.

Some residents say that because of the increase in price they'll be cutting back on their usage or combining multiple trips into one.

The increase in price is due to the rise in crude oil prices due to major unrest in oil-producing countries like Libya.
