WALL TOWNSHIP - Drivers are seeing higher prices at gas pumps all across in New Jersey.

Gas stations along the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway saw prices jump 17 cents this morning to $3.55 for a gallon of regular gasoline. Those prices will remain in place for a week under the terms of a contract with the Turnpike Authority.

The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey today is $3.59, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report. Meanwhile, the national average price is $3.67.

Experts say gas prices could continue to rise in coming weeks as the summer driving season heats up and consumer demand grows higher.
