WOODBRIDGE - Gas prices on the New Jersey Turnpike are going up by 11 cents.

According to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's website, the price for regular gas will go to $3.73 a gallon on Friday, up from $3.62.

The same price will be in effect on the Garden State Parkway. The toll road agency adjusts the gas price at its service areas on Friday mornings. Privately owned gas stations are allowed to change their prices daily.

The increase will be the third this month on the toll roads, making the cost of a gallon 29 cents higher than it was on April 1. The state average for a gallon of regular gas is $3.71.
