Gary Passarelli, 39, arrested for allegedly murdering John Niko, 35, in Raritan Township
RARITAN TOWNSHIP - Police in Hunterdon County have identified and arrested a suspect in Friday's Raritan Township killing.
North Plainfield resident Gary Passarelli, 39, was arrested and charged with the alleged first-degree murder of John Niko, 35.
Police began investigating Friday after Niko's coworkers called police when he failed to show up for work. Niko was found dead by police inside his home in Raritan's Sun Ridge Development.

Passarelli was quickly identified as the suspect, with the help of some of Niko's neighbors. No motive has been identified yet.
