LAKEWOOD - Friends and relatives gathered today to mourn a 30-year-old man who was shot to death by a carjackers outside of the Short Hills mall last weekend.

Funeral services were held at a synagogue in Lakewood for Dustin Friedland, a lawyer who lived in Hoboken. His wife was with him when he was shot during an apparent carjacking in the parking garage of The Mall at Short Hills. She was not hurt.

Mourners who spoke to News 12 New Jersey had nothing but great things to say about Friedland. They are hoping those involved in the shooting are found.

Police are looking for two men who they say shot Friedland and then fled in his silver Range Rover. The vehicle was recovered Monday in Newark, abandoned in a residential area near Interstate 78.

A reward for information leading to the suspects' arrest and conviction has risen to $41,000. That total reflected pledges by a local anti-crime group, the mall and anonymous donors.
