Fundraiser held to help Kenilworth teen get life-saving surgery

KENILWORTH - Many Kenilworth residents came out for a walk-a-thon held to raise money to help save the life of a local teenager.

Michael Bibbo, 17, was diagnosed with Primary Lymphadema in 2009. The disease causes severe swelling and the only treatment available is in Italy at a cost of $90,000.

The family has so far raised $60,000 toward their goal.

The family will leave for Italy on June 25. The family says they still have a few fundraiser events before then.
