Freehold Borough hit hard by fast-moving Saturday storms

FREEHOLD BOROUGH - Freehold residents and officials spent the day trying to clean up the area after strong storms swept through on Saturday.

Trees are down and power is out all over Freehold Borough. Police say that many roads are blocked due to branches and trees. One home on Kiawah Avenue fell victim to a falling tree.

Officials say there has been no reports of any major injuries. Freehold Borough Police say they have instituted a dawn-to-dusk curfew until all power is fully restored.
