Franklin Township fire injures 3

Two firefighters have been hospitalized after battling a fire in Somerset County. A woman was also injured while she evacuated from the building.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP - Two firefighters have been hospitalized after battling a fire in Somerset County.

The fire broke out at around 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Huntington Life Sciences Building located at 100 Mettlers Road in Franklin Township.

Fire departments from at least five different towns responded to help fight the blaze.

One woman who was working at the building when the fire started was injured when she fell while evacuating.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
