LIVINGSTON - Children from foster homes got an early Christmas present today when they were invited to the Build-a-Bear Workshop in Livingston.

Each child got to choose his or her own bear and "bring it to life" by placing a small heart inside the bear before it got filled with its stuffing. They then got to pick out an outfit for the bear.

"The kids had a lot of fun, that's what we're about," said Build-a-Bear manager Bill Masefield. "We did our job for Christmas."
