Formula 1 racing in Weehawken postponed until 2014

WEEHAWKEN - Formula 1 racing fans may have to wait a while longer before the top flight international auto racing circuit comes to the Garden State.

The mayors of West New York and Weehawken, where the race was slated to take place, say the race has been pushed from 2013 to 2014.

According to a Formula 1 industry analyst, there is some doubt about whether the race will happen at all.

Analysts still would like to see the race come to New Jersey, along with the hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue expected for Hudson County businesses.
