Former Tenafly fire chief writes 9/11 book

After the Sept. 11 attacks, Tenafly's former fire chief Harvey Eisner says that he began writing down every firsthand account from that day from firefighters

TENAFLY - After the Sept. 11 attacks, Tenafly's former fire chief Harvey Eisner says that he began writing down every firsthand account from that day from firefighters who made it out alive.

Over the past decade, Eisner has collected more than 95 personal stories for a book about the day of the attacks.

Eisner told News 12 New Jersey, "It was amazing to hear the stories because many people had not heard the stories." He adds, "One specific firefighter said he had only told one other person besides me that story."

The book is available for purchase at: firehouse.com/wtcbook
