TEANECK - (AP) - A former school superintendent in NewJersey has apologized for plagiarizing a speech andwelcome-back-to-school letter.

A. Spencer "Skip" Denham was interim superintendent in Teaneckuntil his retirement.

Denham's June graduation speech was the same as the oneAustralian high school principal John Warren delivered in 2008. Denham's back-to-school letter apparently drew phrases fromsimilar letters available online.

Denham says he should have credited his sources.
