EDISON - New Jersey saw another day of record-breaking weather, with temperatures reaching the mid- to upper-80s Wednesday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures should remain warm for the next two days, but rain is expected Thursday and Friday.

Wednesday’s overnight hours should see partly cloudy skies with temperatures cooling into the 60s and 50s.

Thursday should see cloudy skies with rain expected in the later afternoon or evening. Temperatures should reach the low-70s.

Friday is expected to see mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers. Temperatures should reach the low- to mid-70s.

The weekend is expected to be mostly clear, but temperatures should cool into the low-60s.
