EDISON - Stormy weather is expected for Thursday as temperatures warm up. Snow may fall on the Garden State this weekend.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the remainder of Wednesday should see partly cloudy skies. Temperatures could dip into the mid-40s overnight.

Thursday is expected to see scattered rain showers in the morning. Heavier rain with thunderstorms should develop by Thursday afternoon. Curren says that there could be some strong wind gusts. Temperatures for Thursday are expected to warm into the low-60s.

Friday should see a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the low-50s.

Saturday should be mostly cloudy with a possibility of light snow falling in parts of the state. Temperatures should only reach the low-40s.
