EDISON - Parts of North Jersey saw light rain Monday morning while the rest of the state was treated to a nice spring day. More rain is expected Tuesday, but the rest of the week should see mostly clear skies.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that Monday’s overnight hours should see cloudy skies develop with temperatures in the upper-40s and low-50s.

New Jersey should see more rain beginning in the very early hours of Tuesday and last throughout much of the morning. The remainder of Tuesday is expected to remain cloudy with temperatures in the upper-50s.

Wednesday is expected to see mostly sunny skies. Temperatures should reach the mid-50s.

The sunshine is expected to remain for Thursday with temperatures in the upper-50s for most of the day.
