A heat advisory is in effect for Mercer, Middlesex, Ocean, Somerset and western Monmouth counties through 7 p.m. Saturday.
Friday’s overnight hours are expected to see cloudy skies, with the possibility of scattered rain. Temperatures should cool into the mid-70s.
Saturday is expected to see mostly sunny conditions. Hot and humid conditions are expected to continue with high temperatures reaching around 90 degrees. A thunderstorm is possible later in the day.
Sunday could see some rain in the morning, but the weather should clear later in the day. High temperatures should reach the low-80s.
