EDISON - The skies have cleared over New Jersey after the morning saw wet weather across the state.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that the rest of the week is expected to see clear skies and mild temperatures. However, cold temperatures are expected overnight.

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for parts of New Jersey until Wednesday morning.

Wednesday should see mostly sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid-50s.

Thursday should see sunny skies with some breezy conditions. High temperatures could reach the low-60s.

Friday is expected to see partly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-60s as well.
