EDISON - New Jersey saw rainy, wet weather for most of Monday with temperatures that ranged anywhere from 32 degrees up north to mid-60s in the south.

Temperatures are expected to remain mostly cool for the rest of the week.

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning that will be in effect from 1 a.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Tuesday should see mostly sunny skies, but temperatures should only reach the low-40s.

Wednesday is expected to see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the upper-40s.

Thursday should see temperatures warm into the upper-50s, but rain is expected for most of the day.
