EDISON - New Jersey saw a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday with temperatures that were below average for this time of year.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that rain is expected for Thursday afternoon and that temperatures are expected to remain cool.

Wednesday’s overnight hours should see mostly clear skies with temperatures dipping into the low- to mid-40s.

Thursday should start off sunny, but is expected to see increasing clouds throughout the day. Scattered rain showers are expected in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures aren’t expected to breach 60 degrees.

Friday is expected to also see cloudy skies with scattered rain. Temperatures should remain cool at around 55 degrees.
