EDISON - The Garden State is expected to see mostly beautiful sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s this weekend.
News 12 New Jersey meteorologists say that although most of the state saw sunny skies Friday, the southern tip of New Jersey dealt with heavy rainstorms. Those storms led to some flooding.
Friday’s overnight hours should see partly cloudy skies and temperatures should cool into the mid-60s.
Saturday and Sunday are both expected to see mostly sunny skies. Saturday should see temperatures reach the low-80s. Sunday could be slightly warmer with temperatures around 85 degrees.
Some thunderstorms are expected for later on next week.
