Flooding problems in Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS - Residents in Little Falls are dealing with a second round of flooding after a storm soaked the already saturated town with more than 2 inches of rain.

The Passaic River at Little Falls is currently 5 feet above flood stage, and is expected to crest at more then 5 feet above flood stage this weekend.

Little Falls is offering the following help to residents:

ParkingOld Morris Canal Lane at Paterson Avenue and the NJ Transit Parking Lot, Railroad Avenue and Union Avenue.SheltersCivic Center, Warren StreetPet SheltersKamp Kanine, 51 Sindle Ave, Little Falls (973) 837-6630 $20.00 per day; Hal Wheeler Pet Boarding. 1126 Rt. 23, Cedar Grove (973) 256-0694, $27.00 - $33.00 per day depending on the size of the dog.Flood Hotline973-256-6538 The hotline will operate 24 hours a day during the flooding crisis.
