Flood clean up gets under way in Little Falls

People living along the banks of the Passaic River are slowly getting back into their homes and starting the clean up efforts after major flooding

LITTLE FALLS - People living along the banks of the Passaic River are slowly getting back into their homes and starting the clean up efforts after major flooding hit the area last week.

The Passaic River at Little Falls is expected to recede below flood stage by Wednesday. It crested Saturday night at 11.81 feet.

Several frustrated residents told News 12 New Jersey they were upset at the lack of a long-term solution for the flooding along the river.
