Fleet Week demonstrations held in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY - A number of events took place over the weekend to honor the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard during Fleet Week.

Nearly 4,500 sea service members are participating in the events that kicked off last Thursday.

Spectators were  able to see a variety of air demonstrations, including the Navy Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs, a Naval helicopter demonstration, a Coast Guard Search and Rescue demonstration and more.

This year marks the 28th year of Fleet Week, which honors and celebrates all servicemen and women.
