EDISON - Bergen County Executive Dennis McNerney has ordered that all county flags be flown at half-staff at county buildings to honor fallen Teaneck Police Officer John Abraham.

Abraham was killed when his patrol car slammed into a utility pole across the street from Teaneck police headquarters at around 2 a.m. Monday.

Teaneck police say the 37-year-old had been on the force since 1994.

The wake for Abraham will be held at Volk Leber Funeral Home tomorrow and Friday.

The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Parish in Teaneck.
