TRENTON - Flags are flying at half-staff Friday in honor of a soldier from Hammonton.

Gov. Chris Christie signed an executive order to recognize the death of Pvt. Christopher Castaneda.

Castaneda was killed in a non-combat related incident on Nov. 20.

He enlisted in the Army in January and was deployed to Iraq in August. He was awarded several medals during his time serving.

Castaneda was 19 years old.
