PATERSON - Firefighters worked on a stubborn three-alarm fire in Paterson this morning.

The fire broke out just before 11 p.m. on the 500 block of East 36th Street.

Fire officials say they had trouble accessing the blaze and were forced to cut through neighbor’s fences to get to it.

Authorities have not yet said what caused the fire.
