More than a dozen firefighters from Paterson and Bayonne learned today how to rescue victims who have fallen through the ice.

The training took place on Barbour Pond in Woodland Park.

Attendees learned how to secure a victim with straps and floating devices and then pull the victim to shore.

The trainees took turns playing the role of the victim....
