TABERNACLE - Firefighters have fully contained a large, wind-whipped wildfire that has consumed about 1,000 acres in Burlington County.

Fire officials hope to announce that the fire is under control by tomorrow.

The fire broke out early yesterday in the towns of Tabernacle and Woodland, and by midmorning, it had extended across 600 acres.
