KEYPORT - Firefighters are working to get control of a fire that broke out in a two-family home in Keyport early this morning.

Fire officials say the fire appears to have started in the attic in the vacant side of the structure.

Residents who were in the occupied side of the home at the time were able to escape unharmed.

Firefighters from several towns were called in to help extinguish the blaze.

Authorities are still working to determine what caused the fire, however, fire officials say evidence of accelerants were discovered inside the home.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and the county Fire Marshal are investigating.
